Uuuurgh! Found out today (i.e. a day too late) that the train came through Toowoomba this time — after assiduously checking the itinerary for last time without managing to find somewhere that suited to go and see it, this time it comes basically past my back door and I didn’t know. I’d have come out to say hello! Or at least fill out the crowd a bit. I hope the town managed a bit of a crowd for the event, anyway, and that it’s going well.
